Shopify bundle builder with no monthly fee: Bundle builder pro

A Shopify bundle builder with no monthly fee is a theme section you buy once and keep. Bundle builder pro is one. Shoppers pick products from collection tabs, watch the bundle price drop at each tier and add the whole bundle in one click. It costs $24 once. Is there a Shopify bundle builder with no monthly fee?

Yes. Section Store sells bundle builder sections for a one-time price, with no monthly fee and no share of sales. Bundle builder pro is the newest of them. Most bundle builder apps on the Shopify App Store charge a monthly plan that rises with your bundle sales, or take a percentage of each bundle order.

A section is different from an app block. Buying it copies the section's code into your theme. It then runs in your theme like any built-in section, with no app server between your shopper and the cart. Section Store's purchase page says it plainly: "Buy once and keep it forever."

What does Bundle builder pro do for shoppers?

Bundle builder pro lets shoppers build their own bundle from your collections and see the discount grow with every item they add. It works as a full section on any page, such as a "Build your box" page or a section on the home page. You can see three styles on the live demo page.

• Collection tabs. Bestsellers, T-shirts, Shirts and so on, one tab per collection. Tabs load their products only when opened, so the page stays fast.
• Discount tiers by item count. The demo uses 5% off at 2 items, 10% at 3 and 15% at 4. You set your own tiers.
• Live bundle prices. Once a tier is reached, every card shows the bundle price with the full price struck through.
• A running summary. The bundle panel lists the picks, the count, the total and a line such as "You save $12.00 (10%)".
• Variants in a quick view. Products with sizes or colors open a quick view with photos and option buttons. Single-variant products add in one tap.
• An item cap. Limit the bundle to, say, six pieces. The demo's second style says "Pick up to six pieces".
• A bundle that survives a refresh. The picks stay while the shopper browses in the same tab, and clear once the bundle reaches the cart.
• A docked summary. The bundle summary follows the shopper down the section and fades once they scroll well past it.

Sold-out products show "Sold out" and can't join the bundle. After "Add bundle to cart", the section opens your cart. It works with your theme's cart drawer and detects UpCart, Amp and Kaching's cart. The Section Store cart drawer opens on its own when products are added.

How do you set up Bundle builder pro?

You set up Bundle builder pro in two parts: the section in your theme, then one Shopify automatic discount per tier.

1. Install Section Store from the Shopify App Store. The app is free to install.
2. Buy Bundle builder pro in the app. Shopify bills the one-time charge.
3. Add it to your theme. Pick the theme in the app. Then open the theme editor, choose the page and click Add section.
4. Add a Collection tab block for each collection shoppers can pick from.
5. Set the tiers. For example, 2 items for 5%, 3 items for 10% and 4 items for 15%. Set a cap if you want one.
6. Create the matching discounts in Shopify. Go to Discounts, then Create discount, then Amount off products. Choose Automatic discount. Set 5%, apply it to the same collections, and set the minimum requirement to a minimum quantity of 2 items.
7. Repeat for each tier. One discount at 10% with a minimum of 3 items, one at 15% with a minimum of 4.
8. Test a bundle. Add 3 items in a preview and check that checkout shows 10% off.

How does the bundle discount reach checkout?

The bundle discount reaches checkout through Shopify's own automatic discounts, not through the section. Bundle builder pro adds each pick to the cart as a normal product line. Shopify then sees, for example, 3 items from your collection and applies the 10% discount you created.

• The best discount wins. When several of your tier discounts fit one cart, Shopify applies the best one. Stacking several product discounts on the same item needs the Shopify Plus plan.
• 25 automatic discounts at most. Shopify allows 25 active automatic discounts per store, app discounts included. Three tiers use three.
• The discount follows the cart, not the section. A shopper who adds 3 items from those collections another way gets the same 10%. Use collections made for the bundle if you want the deal to stay inside it.

Bundle apps hide this step. They create the discount for you, usually through a Shopify Function. That is part of what their monthly fee pays for.

What does a bundle builder cost over three years?

Bundle builder pro's $24 costs less than one month of most paid bundle builder plans. By the third month it costs less than any paid plan here. The table prices five bundle builder apps at $3,000 of bundle sales a month for 36 months. It is an example with list prices, checked on each App Store listing on October 24, 2026.

The monthly apps grow with you. Easy Bundles is free to $500 of bundle sales, then $29 to $3,000, $49 to $5,000 and $99 to $10,000. Its free and $29 plans are "Not applicable for Shopify Plus and Advanced plans". BundleSuite is $12 to $1,000, $29 to $5,000 and $49 to $10,000. Kitenzo takes 1.5% of each bundle transaction. Mix and Match Bundle Builder is $14.99 a month, free only on development stores.

At $10,000 of bundle sales a month, Easy Bundles costs $99 and Kitenzo $150. Bundle builder pro still costs nothing more.

Which Section Store bundle builder fits your store?

Bundle builder pro fits most stores, and the older bundle builder sections fit special cases. All of them are one-time purchases. The table describes the ones we checked in the code.

When is a monthly bundle app the better choice?

A monthly bundle app is the better choice when you want the discount handled for you or need features a section can't have. These are the cases where we'd pick one:

• No discount setup. An app creates and keeps the checkout discount in step with the widget.
• Inventory sync for kits. Apps such as Simple Bundles split a bundle into SKUs for your warehouse.
• Quantity breaks on a product page. "Buy 2, save 10%" on one product is a different widget from a build-your-own bundle.
• Analytics and A/B tests. A section doesn't report bundle sales on its own.
