The best Monster Cart alternatives for a Shopify cart drawer are Section Store Plus at a flat $15 a month and Qikify Slide Cart Drawer at a flat $14.99. Essent Cart Drawer is the best free start. iCart from $9 is the closest feature match, with free gifts, volume discounts and BOGO in the cart. Monster Cart Upsell+ Free Gift's Shopify App Store listing read "not currently available" on October 23, 2026, so a new store can't install it today. We make Section Store, so this comparison says where each rival beats it. Section Store is a Shopify app with theme sections, bundles, a cart drawer and AI Pages. Section Store Plus is its $15 monthly plan.

Which Monster Cart alternative is best?

Section Store Plus is the best Monster Cart alternative for a store that wants free gifts, upsells and volume discounts at one price that never rises with orders. Qikify Slide Cart Drawer is the cheapest flat-priced drawer. Essent Cart Drawer is the best free start. iCart matches the most Monster Cart features one for one, but its price climbs by order tier the way Monster Cart's did.

Is Monster Cart still on the Shopify App Store?

Monster Cart Upsell+ Free Gift was not available on the Shopify App Store on October 23, 2026. Its listing page showed a notice instead of the app, with no install button, plan cards or reviews. Monster Apps' own help desk was still online the same day, and it says stores already on the app keep their rate.

Monster Cart was a slide cart with four campaign types: free gifts, one-tick upsells, buy more save more, and add-to-unlock offers with frequently bought together products. When we checked it on October 8, 2026 for our cart drawer apps guide, it had a 4.7 rating from 537 reviews. Those numbers can't be rechecked while the listing is down.

Monster Cart isn't alone. Rebuy, UpCart, AfterSell and Selleasy showed the same notice the same day. Every app in the tables below was live on the App Store when we checked.

What did Monster Cart cost?

Monster Cart's last published prices were its launch rates: free up to 50 orders a month, then $9.99 to $179.99 by order tier. They applied to stores that installed between September 9 and October 31, 2026. The tiers come from the Monster Apps help desk, updated September 26, 2026 and still online on October 23. "Orders" meant the store's total orders for the billing month, and the plan moved between bands on its own.

Below 100 orders a month Monster Cart was cheaper than Section Store Plus, and free below 51. From 200 orders the flat $15 wins, and the gap grows with every tier. Existing stores keep their original rate, which the help desk doesn't print.

How do the 6 Monster Cart alternatives compare?

All six alternatives are slide carts with a reward bar and in-cart upsells, and five of them offer free gifts in the cart. Only Section Store Plus and iCart include volume discounts without a second app. Ratings, plan cards and feature text come from each Shopify App Store listing on October 23, 2026.

"Reward bar" means a progress bar toward free shipping, a discount or a free gift. "Yes" and "Not listed" follow each listing's plan cards and description. Section Store's in-cart recommendations are Shopify's own product recommendations, or manual rules you set, not a separate AI engine.

What do they cost at 300 orders a month?

At 300 orders a month, the six alternatives cost $14.99 to $29.99. Qikify is $14.99, Section Store Plus is $15, Essent is $23.99, Kaching is $24.99, iCart is $29 and Amp is $29.99. Monster Cart's launch rate at 300 orders was $24.99, so four of the six cost the same or less, and the two flat-priced apps cost $10 less.

iCart and Kaching show no prices above 500 orders, and Essent lists "5 more plans to 10,000+" without prices. If you ship more than 500 orders a month, ask each vendor first.

Which Monster Cart features do you keep?

You keep free gifts, in-cart upsells and a free shipping bar with every app on this list, on a paid plan where noted. Volume discounts in the cart survive the move to Section Store Plus or iCart. Frequently bought together offers survive the move to iCart, Amp or Kaching.

• One-tick upsell: Section Store's order add-on block is a one-product opt-in toggle, never pre-checked, and you can add several. Kaching has an upsell toggle for shipping protection or gift wrap. Amp has a shipping protection upsell with tiers on Growth.
• Buy more save more: Section Store Plus includes volume discounts and quantity breaks in the same $15. iCart includes volume discounts and BOGO. Kaching and Qikify sell volume discounts as separate apps.
• Add to unlock with frequently bought together: iCart, Amp and Kaching list frequently bought together upsells. Section Store Plus shows Shopify's own recommendations or your manual picks under the line items, and a multi-tier reward bar covers the unlock part. 1. Section Store Plus

Section Store Plus is $15 a month at any revenue, with a 14-day trial. The cart drawer replaces your theme's drawer and opens on every add to cart. Blocks include an announcement, a timer, a reward bar with free shipping, discount and free gift tiers, and product upsells from Shopify's recommendations or your own rules. Order add-ons such as shipping protection, a discount code field, payment icons and trust badges round it out. Gifts are added and removed on their own. A/B tests run up to four versions and pick the winner on revenue per visitor. The same plan includes bundles, quantity breaks and AI Pages. Discounts run through one Shopify Function, so they use one of your 25 automatic discount slots.

Where Monster Cart beat it: Monster Cart was free up to 50 orders and $9.99 to 99, so a store under 100 orders paid less. It also offered add-to-unlock offers with frequently bought together products. Section Store has no frequently bought together widget, and its recommendations are Shopify's.

2. Qikify Slide Cart Drawer

Qikify Slide Cart Drawer has a free plan with a basic slide cart, a sticky add to cart bar, an announcement bar, order notes and gift wrapping. Premium is $14.99 a month flat, or $143.90 a year. It adds cart upsells, a reward bar that unlocks a gift at the cart total you set, a shipping estimate bar and variant editing in the cart. Shopify Plus stores pay $99. 422 reviews at 4.9, listed since 2019. Where it beats Section Store: one cent cheaper, a free basic cart, and a sticky add to cart bar in the same app. Volume discounts need Qikify's separate app.

3. Essent Cart Drawer Cart Upsell

Essent is free for 30 orders a month, then $8.99 for 99, $13.99 for 199 and $23.99 for 499. Every plan has every feature: slide cart, upsells with Shopify AI or hand-picked products, and spend tiers for free shipping, free gifts and discounts. It also includes a sticky add to cart bar, a countdown timer, markets and translations. 1,121 reviews at 5.0, launched March 2025. Where it beats Section Store: free for 30 orders and cheaper up to 199. Above 499 orders it lists five more plans without prices.

4. Kaching CartDrawer Cart Upsell

Kaching CartDrawer is $9.99 a month for 99 orders, $14.99 for 199 and $24.99 for 499. It has a free shipping and free gift bar, an upsell carousel with frequently bought together products, and an upsell toggle for shipping protection or gift wrap. 1,543 reviews at 5.0, launched December 2024. Where it beats Section Store: cheaper under 200 orders, and a frequently bought together carousel. Bundles and volume discounts are a separate Kaching app on its own bill.

5. iCart Cart Drawer Cart Upsell

iCart is $9 for 0 to 100 orders, $19 for 101 to 200 and $29 for 201 to 500, all features included. It offers a drawer, a cart popup and a full cart page, a multi-tier progress bar, AI upsells, product bundles, volume discounts, BOGO and free gifts. 451 reviews at 4.7, launched 2020. Where it beats Section Store: it is the closest one-app match to Monster Cart's campaign list, and it is $6 cheaper under 100 orders. Above 500 orders the listing shows no price.

6. Amp Slide Cart Upsell Drawer

Amp Slide Cart has a free plan with cart styling, announcements, trust badges and a discount box. Upsells, the progress bar and free gifts start on Growth at $29.99 a month, "always this price". Pro at $49.99 adds built-in cart designs and Buy X get Y gifts. 778 reviews at 5.0, listed since 2019. Where it beats Section Store: frequently bought together upsells, a shipping protection upsell with tiers, and a free basic cart. It costs twice as much at any order count.

How do you switch from Monster Cart to a new cart drawer?

Write down your Monster Cart campaigns, build the new drawer on a draft theme, test a checkout, then deactivate Monster Cart. Done in that order, shoppers never see two carts.

1. Open Monster Cart and note every campaign: free gift products and thresholds, one-tick upsell products, buy more save more tiers, add-to-unlock offers, and your colors.
2. Install the new app. In Section Store, open Cart Drawer, pick a color preset or Brand, and add the Reward bar, Products upsell and Order addon blocks.
3. Enter the same gift and free shipping thresholds. Choose Shopify recommendations or manual rules for the upsells. Add one Order addon block per one-tick upsell.
4. For buy more save more tiers, create a volume discount under Bundles. Each live bundle uses one automatic discount slot.
5. Preview on a phone. Add a product, cross the gift threshold, apply a code, and run a test order.
6. Turn the new drawer on, then deactivate Monster Cart and disable its app embed in the theme editor. Test one add to cart afterwards. Check Discounts in your admin for leftover Monster Cart automatic discounts.
