New Zealand Manuka

Four steps from hive to jar. Nothing in between.

Supermarket honey is often blended and heat-treated until little of the original remains. Ours is raw Manuka — cold-extracted.

  • Step 01 — Harvest

    Hives in the flowering window

Hives are moved into remote Manuka scrubland for the six weeks the flower is in bloom — the only window in which this nectar exists.

  • Step 02 — Extract

    Cold-spun, never pasteurised

Combs are spun at hive temperature and never heated past 35°C, so the natural enzymes reach the jar intact.

  • Step 03 — Strain

    Strained, not stripped

A single coarse strain lifts out wax and debris. The pollen stays in — it is what lets a lab confirm the honey is monofloral Manuka.

  • Step 04 — Verify

    Graded, tested, traceable

Every batch is tested by an independent New Zealand lab for MGO and UMF, then stamped with a batch number you can look up.

Daily ritual

Four steps, five minutes. Every morning.

Skin does not need a ten-product shelf. It needs the right actives, layered thinnest to thickest, in the same order every day.

  • Step 01 — Cleanse

    Start on damp skin

A pH-balanced gel cleanser, massaged for sixty seconds. Warm water only — anything hotter strips the lipid barrier you are about to rebuild.

  • Step 02 — Treat

    Vitamin C, before anything else

Three to four drops of 15% L-ascorbic acid on bare skin, while it is still slightly damp. Give it a minute before the next layer.

  • Step 03 — Hydrate

    Seal the water in

Hyaluronic acid draws moisture in; the moisturiser on top stops it evaporating. Skipping the second half is why serum alone leaves skin tight.

  • Step 04 — Protect

    SPF 50, every day

Two fingers' length, reapplied at midday. Without it, the vitamin C underneath is doing repair work it will only have to redo tomorrow.

Fit guide

Turn the room down. Not the music.

Foam plugs cut the high frequencies hardest, which is why everything behind them sounds muffled. A filtered acoustic channel lowers the whole spectrum more evenly instead.

Compare filter levels
  • Step 01 — Size

    Start with the medium tip

Three tip sizes ship in the case. If the seal breaks when you talk or chew, size up. If the fit aches after an hour, size down.

  • Step 02 — Insert

    Pull up, then twist in

Reach over and lift the top of your ear before pushing the tip home. That straightens the canal so the bud seats properly instead of resting at the entrance.

  • Step 03 — Seal

Check it with your own voice

Hum a low note. Sealed, it sounds full and inside your head; unsealed, it stays thin and outside it. Reseat whichever side sounds wrong.

  • Step 04 — Adjust

Match the level to the room

Lower attenuation for conversation and live music, higher for power tools and two-stroke engines. Same seal, different filter.
